Hydro-Caine Gel is a sterile, water-based lubricating gel used before urethral and suprapubic catheterization. It can also be used for other medical procedures such as rectal and colonic procedures, urethrocystoscopy, urethral dilatation, and other urethral instrumentation.

It provides protection, allowing a catheter or other medical device to pass through the narrow parts of the urethra as painlessly and comfortably as possible. It comes in single-use sterile packaging to ensure Aseptic Non-Touch Technique (ANTT) during catheterization.

By providing an effective lubricant which contains antiseptics to reduce the risk of infection and a local anaesthetic to reduce pain during the procedure, Hydro-Caine Gel reduces the risk of pain, infection, and trauma.

Hydro-Caine Gel features a smooth nozzle to help reduce the risk of trauma to the urethral opening.

Local delivery: If you're local to us (West Yorkshire), we can deliver to you personally using our electric van! You’ll have the option to choose local delivery at checkout if this service is available to you.

Alternative options: Sometimes our courier partners will make changes or be unable to deliver your order. In these instances we may switch your delivery type to the best option available to get it to you within the same time frame.

We offer free returns & refunds for Vyne Shop items ordered within the past 30 days, which have not been used or opened*. If you're not happy with your Vyne Shop order, please get in touch and we'll arrange a free home collection at a date and time suitable for you. It can take up to 7 days for your order to be refunded once we've collected your items, but it's usually quicker.
