Trio Pearls Sachets Solidifying Agent assists ostomates in gaining more control over liquid output from their stool. The sachets are placed inside the ostomy pouch, where the super absorbent gelling crystals absorb the excess fluid, transforming the liquid into a thicker, more manageable gel.
Solidifying agents help to reduce the likelihood of leaks by minimising liquid content, whilst also helping to eliminate unpleasant odours. By reducing the liquid content within your pouch, users may also find a reduction in pouch noise or sloshing, improving privacy and discreet wearing. Solidifying more liquid outputs can also promote healthier peristomal skin, and reduce the risk of content returning to the stoma.
The organic compound in each sachet is designed to specifically target odour, actively adsorbing odorous molecules and gases.
