These polyacrylate fibres are placed parallel to the wound surface using a hot melt process, giving UrgoClean Ag its unique absorption characteristics, excellent wound residue drainage, and great tensile strength.
The hydro-desloughing pad is coated with a silver-impregnated micro-adherent healing matrix known as TLC (Lipido-Colloid Technology), which not only provides antibacterial properties but also forms a gel-like substance, making it easier to remove sloughy residue and apply and remove the dressings.
